Interviewer: Jayda, you’ve been a professional footballer for over 20 years now. What has been the highlight of your career so far?
Jayda Potts: Definitely winning the league title with Barts Hospital. It was an incredible feeling to finally achieve that goal after so many years of hard work and dedication.
Interviewer: Your form this season has been a bit average, with 7 goals allowed in 5 matches. How do you plan on improving your performance?
Jayda Potts: It’s been a bit of a rough start to the season for me personally, but I’m working hard in training to get back to my best form. I know I still have a lot to offer this team and I’m committed to giving it my all in every match.
Interviewer: You’re currently on the club’s transfer list. Do you see yourself staying with Barts Hospital or do you think it’s time for a new challenge?
Jayda Potts: At this stage in my career, I’m open to exploring all options. Barts Hospital has been a great club to play for and I have a lot of respect for my teammates and the fans. But I also know that as a mature player, I need to be realistic about my future and consider what’s best for me and my family.
Interviewer: What do you enjoy most about playing for a football club?
Jayda Potts: Without a doubt, it’s the atmosphere on matchday. There’s nothing like the feeling of stepping out onto the pitch in front of a packed stadium and putting on a good show for the fans. It’s a feeling that never gets old. What I love the most are clubs where the main purpose is entertaining the fans who are paying to come see us. Winning without putting on a good show is not very attractive to me
Interviewer: How do you stay healthy and fit for your age?
Jayda Potts: It definitely gets harder as you get older, but I make sure to maintain a healthy diet and stay active in my downtime. I also prioritize my recovery and make sure to get enough rest to keep my body and mind in top condition.
Interviewer: Finally, what message do you have for young footballers looking to follow in your footsteps?
Jayda Potts: Always stay true to yourself and never give up on your dreams. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to succeed in this sport, but with the right attitude and determination, anything is possible. So, always be ready to work hard and never lose faith in yourself.
